SHELTER · WATER · ACCESS
Protect water systems while keeping every service point reachable.
Tanks, filters, pumps, pipes and electrical connections need protection from direct heat, debris, impact and accidental changes. They also need room for inspection and maintenance.
Keep the system visible and serviceable
Label valves, leave access to filters and screens, keep drainage clear around equipment and support pipes where they can be damaged. Shade can reduce heat stress on exposed components, but it should not trap dampness or hide leaks.
Protect the route, not only the equipment
Notice where pipes cross paths, where runoff can undermine supports and where an overflow travels. A simple cover, barrier or better route can prevent repeated repairs and make the whole water system easier to understand.
